Wow … what a year. So much has happened, both in the VR training industry as well as in our company.
We would like to take a moment to reflect on all these amazing milestones and thank everyone who has joined us on this adventure.
Without a doubt the birth of our VR training platform is the biggest milestone of 2017. We haven’t shared much about Warp Studio, but we will share way more coming year. In short Warp Studio is a complete tool to create, manage and analyse Virtual Reality training courses. Give trainees access to your VR training courses and let them play and experience engaging content.
Because creation in Warp Studio is so easy and user-friendly, 2017 has been the year of creating a full-blown VR training course in just ONE day.
We have done some amazing projects this year with clients who believe in the promise of training with VR. Amongst them are Air France — KLM, Vopak, ABN Amro, Academic Medical Center and Custodial Institutions Agency. But don’t take our story for granted. Listen to our clients instead:
“At Airfrance/KLM we run a continuous operation. The professional and flexible attitude of Warp VR has allowed us to successfully create trainings within our irregular operation schedule.” — Cees den Hoed, Training Representative at Air France-KLM
“Working with Warp VR has been a great adventure. We really appreciated their flexible and creative approach. Whilst working together, they listened to our wishes and thought with us. This resulted in a very high quality VR training that we are proud of to share with our trainees.” — Burg de Man, Learning Expert at Custodial Institutions Agency
Next to VR training, we noticed in 2017 that VR is a great medium for performing assessments or providing onboarding. Proof is a VR assessment we have developed for Cubiks and British Telekom and an VR onboarding journey for Voorbij Foundation Techniques.
Another success story we really want to share is a major project we did in cooperation with The Dutch Fire Department. We have created several training scenario’s in which Fire Safety is key. This short case video shows you everything needed to create such a compelling VR experience.
To finalise this years events, I want to end with the gratitude I have for the Startup Incubator YES!Delft we are part of and the whole team who stand behind our vision, product and technology.
Thanks again to all beta testers! Your input has been super valuable. The wait is almost over. Somewhere in the first quarter of 2018 Warp Studio will go into open beta.
We are sure next year is going to be even bigger. Virtual Reality will be bigger as a medium and more companies will embrace the promise of VR training. If you want to join us on our adventure, please get in touch! See you in 2018!
