Now supporting 180° video, 180° image and 360° image content

At Warp VR, we’re committed to giving you the tools to create the most immersive and effective training scenarios. That’s why we’re excited to announce support for even more media formats: 180° video, 180° image, and 360° image content can now be uploaded and used in your scenarios—alongside the 360° video support you already know.

All of these formats can easily be uploaded as either monoscopic or stereoscopic, giving you full control over the depth and perspective of your content. Whether you’re creating lifelike simulations or focused point-of-view scenes, you now have greater flexibility to match the medium to the message.

When to use which format?

  • 180° video and image: Perfect for scenarios where the action happens mainly in front of the viewer—think customer interactions, equipment handling, or safety procedures. It helps focus attention while still offering immersive depth.
  • 360° image: Great for location-based awareness and orientation training, especially when video isn’t needed but spatial context is key.
  • Stereoscopic media: Use this when you want to enhance realism with depth perception, making objects and people appear more lifelike and immersive.

These new formats are now available in your scenario editor. We can’t wait to see what you’ll create with them!
